Egg Wash:
1 egg white
1 tablespoon water
mix until very frothy
Sugar Mixture:
1 cup white sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Use 1 pound unsalted pecans or cashews. coat the nuts in the egg wash then coat them in the sugar mixture.
Spread them evenly on a well greased cookie sheet. (i found Crisco to be the best greaser)bake at 250 degrees stirring every 15 mins.
