Warning! This pie is absolutely to die for....it is yummy, addictive, and bad for you. Eat with caution!!!
5 Snickers candy bars
2 baked 8 inch pie shells (either from scratch or store bought--either works)
12 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk chocolate chips
4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Cut candy bars into tiny pieces, divide them among the two baked pie shells, lightly pressing down in a layer on the bottom. Cover sides of shell with foil to prevent over browning. In a bowl, beat cream cheese till smooth, then add sugar, eggs, sour cream and peanut butter. Beat until smooth. Pour filling into shells and bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile, melt down chocolate chips and whipped cream. Pour over baked pie. Cool, then put in freezer overnight. Thaw in fridge in the morning. Cut with warm knife when served. Enjoy the layered chocolate goodness.
