Yam Casserole

6 cooked and mashed yams(3 cups)
6 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping: 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup chopped pecans
6 tablespoons butter

Mix yams, milk, sugar, eggs, spices, and vanilla. Put in a 9x13 buttered pan and make at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Mix the topping ingredients and put on top of yam casserole and bake for 15 more minutes at 425 degrees. Can be made a day ahead.
