Shmancakes (German Pancakes)

6 eggs
4 Tbs. Butter or Margarine
3/4 Cup flour
3/4 Cup milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Melt the butter in a 9x13 baking dish in the preheating oven.  While the butter is melting, beat eggs, flour, and milk together until smooth.  Make sure there are no flour lumps.  When the oven is completely preheated and the butter is melted, remove the pan and add the egg batter.  Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.  Serve immediately with buttermilk syrup, jam, fresh fruit or powdered sugar.
