Ground Turkey Chili

I've made this a lot. We don't eat a lot of beef in our house and this is hearty, delicious and easy to freeze.

Ingredients:

1-2 LB ground turkey (depending on how meaty you want it)
1 TBL butter or olive oil (for sautéing the onion and peppers)
1 yellow onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 orange bell pepper, diced (you can use any or all of these peppers)
1 can of corn (you can use  fresh or frozen too)
1 can chili beans
1 can black beans
1 can red beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can rotel tomatoes (i use the mild with green chili peppers)
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1 sm can tomato paste
2 cans diced tomatoes (you can use fresh too)
3 TBL chili powder
2 TBL cumin
1-2 tsp kosher salt
1-2 tsp garlic powder
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
pepper to taste
tabasco to taste

Directions:

Sauté garlic cloves, onion, peppers and butter in large pot this makes a lot. Add ground turkey meat, salt, pepper. cook until meat is done. Add corn, beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, rotel, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder. heat until heated through. I add more salt, pepper/tabasco at the end. serve with corn bread, frito corn chips, grated cheese, avocado or sour cream.
