1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup oil
Sift dry ingredients except baking soda and baking powder. Add oil and mix. Remove 3/4 cup of this mixture to be used as topping. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Pour into two 9" greased and floured pans or one 9x13" pan. Sprinkle on topping and nuts. You can use chopped pieces or decorate with pecan halves. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Enjoy :)
